Made in Cairo Egypt, the material’s epicenter of craft, “Riwayat” is a stone accessory collection inspired by traditional Oriental shapes and patterns of architecture, objects and activities present in the local Souks. The collection comprising 7 objects used as containers, are traditional hand-carving techniques made by local craftsmen in Cairo. Each are named after an Arabic word: Baher (sea), Jabal (mountain), Aleb (heart), Amal (hope), Khayal (imagination), Ahlam (dreams), Dar (house).
