The Spiral Collection “Twist the Helix” begins with a discovery : stone fragments from old classical spiral columns, discarded in a Lebanese quarry. What was lost to time becomes the foundation for an entirely new design language, with each piece reimagining the spiral column’s structural DNA. They operate as both archaeological artifact and functional object, revealing stone’s inherent paradox: how material so heavy and solid can appear fluid through carved form. The spiral’s ascending motion creates a sense of movement and lightness that defies the stone’s own weight. Cold stone meets light metal; rough and weathered surfaces dialogue with polished finishes; natural materiality confronts man-made intervention.
